I’m a chef, culinary curator, and hospitality consultant who has spent the past decade exploring flavors, cultures, and the many ways food can bring people together.
Maybe cooking is just another way of telling stories.
I’m a culinary curator and storyteller exploring India’s indigenous food traditions and the quiet wisdom held within its forests.
My work sits at the intersection of food, culture, and landscape. I’m curious about the relationship between forests, communities, and the ingredients that have nourished people for generations. Through research, fieldwork, and culinary experiences, I try to bring these knowledge systems into conversation with the modern kitchen.
I’ve lived and worked in Indore, London, Mumbai, and Nagpur. Each place shaped how I understood food. But it was the forests of Central India that changed my perspective entirely.
For several years, I lived and worked in the villages surrounding Pench National Park in Madhya Pradesh. I spent time with tribal communities, forest gatherers, and traditional cooks; people who still carry deep knowledge of the land and its ingredients.
It was there that I realized food is never just food.
It carries memory. Culture. Ecology. Healing.
Along the way, I also studied Ayurvedic nutrition and modern nutrition, which helped me connect ancient food wisdom with contemporary culinary practice.
Today, my work focuses on bridging the gap between wild ingredients and modern kitchens. Through forest food festivals, curated culinary experiences, talks, live demonstrations, menu consultancy, and culinary journeys, I try to bring forgotten forest foods back into the conversation.
At its heart, my work is about slowing down.
About eating with awareness.
And about reconnecting with the landscapes and communities that sustain India’s rich food heritage.
From my first taste of homemade pasta to a journey around the world in search of unique spices, my culinary experience has been truly exciting. Every dish I prepare tells a story, showcasing my love for blending classic methods with modern flavors. Come along as I share my cherished recipes, unforgettable moments, and the dynamic cultures that shape my cooking.
